College Essay App Writing Workshop

In this workshop, students will be introduced to what the Common App writing prompts are and read samples of successful college essays to model. They will be taken through a detailed process of brainstorming, outlining two potential essays, and writing one full essay with a revision process, while gaining timely feedback. Students will leave with an essay they can be ready to submit during their college application process and gain the necessary skills to apply to other application essays. While the focus is on the Common App, students may bring in an essay prompt from a specific college if the school they are applying to does not use the Common App.
